Overnight in Gyumri.
Day 4: Echmiadzin (is considered the oldest cathedral in the world. It is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO) - Zvartnots (temple of early medieval Armenian architecture, VII c.) - Yerevan. Overnight in Erevan.
Day 5: Yerevan sightseeing (the capital of republic) - Garni (pagan temple of I c. AD) - Ghegard (cave monastery, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Overnight in Erevan.
Day 6: Khor Virap (monastery, which offers one of the most beautiful views on the Biblical Mount Ararat) - Noravank (monastery of XIII c.) - Tatev (VIII-IX century, the monastery was one of the intellectual centers of medieval Armenia). Overnight in Goris.
Day 7: Selim pass with splendid views (in ancient times the Great Silk Road went through Selim Pass; Selim caravanserai, located under the pass, serves as a reminder to this fact) - Noraduz (currently the largest surviving cemetery with khachkars) - Lake Sevan (the largest among the lakes of Caucasus). Overnight in Dilijan.
Day 8: Goshavank (Armenian monastery, XII-XIII cc., which houses one of the world's finest examples of a khachkar) - Hagpat (listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site) - Sadakhlo. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 9: Tbilisi sightseeing: Metekhi Church, Sioni Cathedral (VI-VII C.), Narikala fortress (IV C.), Sulphur Baths (sulphur springs played a decisive role in choosing the place for foundation of Tbilisi. Day 10: Ananuri (XVII century, which served as the main stronghold for the severe Aragvi dukes - rulers of this region) - 3, 5 hours walk up to Gergeti Trinity Church (where you can admire a fascinating view on Kazbegi Mount, 5034 m) - Kazbegi. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 11: Kakheti (homeland of Georgian wine) - Sighnagi (town of "Eternal love") - Bodbe Monastery (the relics of St. Nino, who has brought Christianity to Georgia in 337, are shrined there). Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 12: Visiting Mtskheta - Jvari monastery (VI century), Svetiskhoveli Cathedral (XI century, which is known as burial site of Christ's mantle) - Uplistsikhe Cave town (I millennium BC, which is translated as "Fortress of God" - Gori (the motherland of Stalin)-visiting House Museum of Stalin. Day 13: Kutaisi (it used to be the capital of legendary Colchis Civilization, which was famous for its gold mining. Some time ago glorified Greek hero Jason took a treasury of Colchis - Golden Fleece) - Prometheus Cave (presents stalactites, stalagmites and stalagnats, which are accompanied by sound and light effects, creating the atmosphere of fantastic movies inside the halls).
