Anaklia is a new Georgian resort town located on the southeastern coast of the Black Sea. Just a few years this place had two Black Sea villages with a population of 2.5 thousand people, but today it is a booming resort with comfortable hotels, restaurants and entertainment facilities.
Reason of Anaklia’s success is dry climate, clean sea and sandy beach.
Spanish architect Alberto Domingo was invited for the construction of the resort in 2011. He changed the geometry of the coastal strip, built a new quay, pitched a great amusement park and built Europe's longest pedestrian bridge (540 meters) above the mouth of the mountain river - Enguri.
Currently Anaklia provides three categorical hotels, a yacht club, restaurants, a disco, the largest water park on the Black Sea, a casino and an amphitheater.
